Episode Title: iGoodbye
Original Airdate: November 23, 2012
So, this is finally goodbye. After 5 years of making us laugh with their crazy antics, the iCarly gang will say goodbye for good in the 1-hour two part series finale, the iCarly – iGoodbye. The iCarly sitcom was introduced in Nickelodeon in September 2007 with Miranda Cosgrove as Carly, Jennette McCurdy as Sam, Nathan Kress as Freddie, Jerry Trainor as Spencer, and Noah Munck as Gibby. All through the 5 years existence of the show, it had received numerous awards. In fact, the iCarly won the Favorite TV Show award for three (2009 – 2011) straight years in Kid’s Choice Awards.
The iCarly – iGoodbye episode will air for one hour, and will be divided into two parts. This would still be a funny and wacky iCarly episode, but I would suggest that should prepare some Kleenex because this will be an emotional episode as well. If you have been following iCarly since its introduction in 2009 you will probably breakdown in tears when Carly and Sam says “And this has been…. iCarly” and close the show for the last time.
The iCarly – iGoodbye will air on Friday, November 23, 2012 on Nickelodeon at 8:00 PM (ET/PT).
iCarly – iGoodbye (Part I ) Synopsis:
In Part 1 of the two-part series finale, Spencer offers to take Carly to the Air Force father-daughter dance because their Dad, Colonel Shay, isn’t able to accompany her because of his overseas deployment. Spencer gets ill and can’t take her, so Freddie and Gibby offer to take her to cheer her up. Elsewhere, Sam and Spencer (later joined by Freddie) rebuild a motorcycle (as mentioned in Jennette’s Time for Kids interview); and Freddie obtains a new phone.
iCarly – iGoodbye (Part II ) Synopsis:
Conclusion. Colonel Shay surprises everyone by arriving just in time to be able to take Carly to her special dance. They return from the evening and Carly is disappointed to hear that her Dad must go back to Italy that night and she is put up to a difficult situation/decision.
