Last week, the newest comedy series on HBO, Veep, aired it Pilot episode. We have been introduced to Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer is the Vice President of the United States. She and her staff are still finding their way in DC and the new job. She takes up a pet project, which requires her staff to unleash damage control. Veep’s comedy stylings are something like a British version of 30 Rock, via stage play. Close-ups are scarce, pauses for laughter are nonexistent, traditional acts and structures are ignored, and there’s very little else that’s indicative of normal television production. The previous episode was viewed by 1.38 million viewers.

In the upcoming Veep Season 1 Episode 2, after getting good news on a clean-jobs bill, the staff brainstorm for a photo-op idea, but the trip to a local frozen-yoghurt shop is delayed by a stop in the White House Situation Room and a gastrointestinal illness that’s going around.

This second episode of newest series was given the title ‘Frozen Yoghurt.’ This episode was directed by Armando Iannucci and the story was written by Simon Blackwell and the teleplay was written by Simon Blackwell & Armando Iannucci.
