Lucy Lawless of Spartacus Vengeance Arrested
The star of Spartacus Vengeance Lucy Lawless was arrested on Monday, February 27, 2012 on New Zealand. The alluring Ms. Lawless was not arrested due to some idiotic lawlessness like other Hollywood personalities. Rather, Lucy was arrested due to her efforts of protecting our environment. Lucy is an active member of Green Peace Movement.
Lucy Lawless was among seven people arrested Monday in an environmental protest in New Zealand, having boarded a Shell-owned oil-drilling ship to prevent it from leaving port. The seven protesters had boarded the Noble Discoverer at Port Taranaki on Friday and spent 77 (3 days and 2 hours) hours sitting atop its 175-foot drilling tower.
The seven protesters are charged with burglary and they are due to appear in New Plymouth District Court on Thursday.
The 43 years old Spartacus: Vengeance actress says, “Seven of us climbed up that drillship to stop Arctic drilling, but 133,000 of us came down.” Lucy is referring to the 133,000 people who recently swamped Shell’s computer server by sending protest emails to the company simultaneously.
Lucy Lawless is best known for her role in Spartacus Vengeance as the devious Lucretia and also in her role as Xenia: The Warrior Princess. I guess it just prove that Lucy is real life hero.
