Tyrion Lannister stops at Winterfell on his way back to King’s Landing and he get a cold welcome from Robb Stark, despite of Tyrion’s kindness for Bran. Meanwhile, King Robert Baratheon holds a grand tourney for Eddard’s inauguration as Hand of the King, to Ned’s discomfort. On the other hand, Catelyn and Ser Rodrik Cassel stop at the Crossroads Inn on the way home and set a chain of events in motion which will have awful consequences to their actions.
